When office life came to a screeching halt last March, working from home, Zoom meetings, and virtual programs looked to be a temporary situation. Here we are, almost a year later, and that’s what life continues to look like for many in the workplace. In fact, in a recent survey conducted with employers at Blue Zones Project Approved® worksites in Fort Worth, more than 65% of respondents said they were either still working exclusively from home or on a hybrid schedule. Only 34% reported having gone back to the office exclusively. Fortunately, the virtual programs and tools Blue Zones Project developed following the shutdown have enabled us to continue to provide worksites and their employees with the resources needed to promote and practice better well-being – no matter where they are. Throughout 2021, we’ll continue to offer a variety of workshops, content, and materials that can be utilized at home, in the office, or anywhere in between.

Lunch & Learn Series

All of our Lunch & Learn workshops are now available virtually, offering 1-hour lunchtime programs such as Mindfulness in the Workplace, Eating Healthy While Eating Out, and the ever-popular Purpose Workshops. Blue Zones Project Approved worksites can schedule these programs upon request. Many are also offered free to the public.

Need ideas for promoting natural movement, stretch breaks, and healthy habits among your employees? Blue Zones Project offers a variety of resources that can be implemented and shared in the workplace.

Live + Well Series

10 @ 10 Live Facebook Breaks

These well-received 10-minute breaks will continue to be offered live on Facebook every Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. Tune in to our channel (@BlueZonesProjectFW) for yoga, cooking demos, and tips for stretching your mind and body.

Mental Health First Aid

This spring, Blue Zones Project Fort Worth will begin offering Mental Health First Aid training for those wanting to better identify, understand, and respond to those suffering signs of addiction and mental illness. More information will be provided soon on this unique opportunity.
