The Fort Worth community was invited to celebrate the newest Blue Zones Project Approved™ Restaurant and the first to be approved in the Northside, Los Vaqueros. Los Vaqueros has joined nine other restaurants in making healthy choices easier for customers. Over fifty people gathered in the beautiful Los Vaqueros garden Saturday morning, August 22, 2015, to partake in a free yoga class taught by local instructor and Blue Zones Project® colleague, McKenzie Zieser. Following the yoga class, special guests, City Councilmember, Sal Espino and President of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber, John Hernandez, helped celebrate this tasty achievement with a mimosa toast and presentation. Attendees enjoyed refreshments and Blue Zones menu items in the courtyard.
