On August 2, Fort Worth City Council voted to approve the Urban Agriculture Ordinance that would allow vacant lots within the city to be used for the development of urban farms without rezoning. These farms would provide fresh fruits and vegetables to the local residents, as well as provide job training and employment opportunities. Blue Zones Project along with Tarrant County Food Policy Council created a guide of the proposed amendments. Click here for the Growing Good Food Guide
