Virtual Volunteer Week Hawai‘i 2020
In response to the public health crisis, we wanted to create opportunities to connect meaningfully to the needs in our communities. As we enter into April, we invite youth, families, classes, and community organizations across Hawaiʻi to participate in Virtual Volunteer Week Hawai‘i.
Virtual Volunteer Week Hawaiʻi will be launching during National Volunteer Week (April 19-25) and will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. In 2019, Volunteer Week Hawai‘i mobilized over 5,000 volunteers across seven islands at over 100 events and this year amidst the COVID-19 crisis, we know that youth can find creative ways to #RespondWithAloha, while following the latest health and safety guidelines.
ELIGIBILITY
Hawai'i students in grades K-12.
Submit your idea here and receive a FREE gift pack in the mail with a Virtual Volunteer Week Hawai‘i t-shirt, swag from our partners, and a helpful tip sheet to get started. Completed projects will be shared to showcase the collective impact of youth service in Hawai‘i — Together, we can #RespondWithAloha!
