There is always room for improvement and we are confident working alongside the Blue Zones Project we can help the community even further."
South Collier-Marco YMCA has been about the business of offering high quality youth development programs for 41 years and providing what they like to call world-class member experiences with vital services for senior citizens, enriching activities for families, and providing expert resources to address chronic diseases. While learning about Blue Zone Project several of their employees had already started to implement the Power 9 Principles. One of their employees was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and within 3 months, was able to gain control of his numbers through exercise and sensible eating. He has lost a total of 30 pounds and continues to lose weight. He attributes his success to having a more plant based diet, tasty healthy recipes and walking, walking, and walking!
Suzanne B Jeffreys at Love Your Life with Suz is a concierge fitness professional, wellness educator & speaker for more than 30 years whose passion is to empower her clients to thrive in their health and prosper in their lives. "By partnering with Blue Zones Project, I can offer more value to more people: we are better together," said Suzanne.
Cancer Alliance of Naples (CAN) is a great example of what Blue Zones Power 9 Principle, Right Tribe can do. In 2002, CAN was formed to offer non-medical support to cancer-stricken families and individuals. Today, CAN helps over 220 families, including children of low-income single parents in Collier County, and children with cancer.

Their atmosphere is perfect for downshifting and spending time with friends which makes it a perfect addition to the well- being of our community.

Part of the mission of the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce is to improve the quality of life for this region, and that includes the well-being of their staff. Sit-stand desks, walking meetings, and dog days at the office are just some of the ways they are helping their team live healthier lives. “Health and well-being initiatives like Blue Zones Project create healthier communities which drive quality of life and economic sustainability," said Tiffany Esposito, President & CEO of the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce.
Foxfire Country Club is an already Blue Zones Project Recognized HOA and went the extra mile by becoming an Approved Worksite! They took many great steps to promote workplace wellness for their employees to include implementing a micro break policy, adding a designated space where employees can downshift, and creating Blue Zones parking spaces located farther away to encourage more walking.
