Summer is the season of sunshine, vacations, and fun-filled outdoor activities. However, the soaring temperatures can make it challenging to stay active and motivated – especially in SWFL. 

 But fear not! With a little planning and some refreshing habits, you can make the most of the summer months while keeping yourself active, motivated, and well-hydrated.

  1. Embrace the Cooler Hours: Exercise in the early mornings or late evenings to avoid the scorching heat and mid-day rains.
  2. Hydration is Key: Carry a water bottle and drink plenty of water before, during, and after physical activities. Products such as Liquid IV or LMNT can be easily added to water for additional hydration. 
  3. Set Realistic Goals: Stay motivated by setting achievable fitness objectives for yourself such as walking a certain number of steps each day, or completing a fitness challenge. 
  4. Find a Workout Buddy: Exercise with a friend or family member to make workouts more enjoyable and to hold each other accountable.
