The sounds of hand saws buzzed on the porch outside of Exodus House on Thursday as several volunteers set to work removing chipped paint from the home operated by Integral Youth Services.

The site was one of four sponsored by Blue Zones Project in Klamath Falls, which is one partner of Klamath Falls City Schools in the community-wide Give Back Day. In addition, K-12 students in city schools by themselves logged 4,400 hours of service at 82 total sites.
