Rose Beardsley had a clear message for Klamath Falls civics groups Tuesday night: work together to connect with those who need help most.
“We are citizens who care and want to be involved,” Beardsley said. “The empty chairs I see tonight should be filled with those citizens who don’t understand what Blue Zones is about.”
But despite any empty seats, more than 80 people packed into the Blue Zones Project civic organization's event Tuesday at the Apatite restaurant downtown. Organizers previously said they only expected about 50 or 60 people to appear based on online invitations.
