Students have been back to school for more than a month and familiar routines have been re-established.
Information, notes and assignment planners are among the many items being stuffed into backpacks and sent home to parents along with fundraising packets.
Across the country, school fundraising has become essential to improving academic and athletic programs, purchasing supplies and updating educational materials. Blue Zones Project, a community-wide well-being initiative, is encouraging schools to consider active and healthy fundraising options, such as walks or fun runs.
