Wahiawa Veterans day PArade
Blue Zones Project - Wahiawa walked in this year's Wahiawa Lions 72nd Veterans Day Parade, the longest standing parade in the state! Over 80 organizations and 2,400 parade participants from across Oahu walked to honor our Veterans.

These groups include the Wahiawa Lions Club, Wahiawa Community Business Association (WCBA), Rotary Club of Wahiawa - Waialua, Wahiawa Rainbow Seniors, ALEA Bridge, and the KoleKole Girl Scouts Troop. Wahiawa General Hospital and State Farm in Wahiawa is currently going through the process of implementing best practices to become Blue Zones Project Approved™ worksites.
Many schools in Wahiawa also joined the parade that are currently going through school or worksite Blue Zones Project pledge process including: Trinity Lutheran Church and School, Leilehua High School, Iliahi Elementary School, Daniel K. Inouye Elementary School, Ka’ala Elementary School, Wahiawa Elementary School, and Wahiawa Middle School. Wahiawa Hongwanji Mission, Wahiawa’s very first Blue Zones Project Approved faith-based organization and first Buddhist temple in the United States, walked with their Blue Zones Project Approved banner.
