Kelsey Craft, Miss Florida International, was crowned Miss International 2017 this past weekend!

While working to complete her residency at NCH Healthcare System, who is the Southwest Florida sponsor of Blue Zones Project, Kelsey fully embraced the Blue Zones Project’s mission. Because of this, Kelsey chose Blue Zones Project part of her platform when she entered the Miss International Pageant. Since her win, she has stated that she plans to share the Blue Zones Project story with communities, schools, business, and community organizations across the country over the next year.

In an article broadcasted on PR Newswire, Kelsey says, “The Miss International title and role will amplify my voice and help me spread my message of healthy living throughout the United States and the world. I learned about the system by following now past Miss International titleholders and I was so impressed by the system's ability to help others embrace and promote their life's purpose."

The Annual Miss International Pageant was held in Charleston, West Virginia on Saturday, August 5th. There were 50 contestants across the world that competed in four categories: interview, fitness-wear, fun fashion, and evening gown. The pageant was founded to celebrate young women and their accomplishments, while giving them the opportunity to learn about different countries' customs and lifestyle and share their own beliefs and lifestyle.
