Walking school buses, bicycle paths and discounted “healthy food” shopping bags are some of the initiatives that could come to Corry now that the city is set to become a Blue Zones community.
A contract has been reached with Blue Zones Project to work with Corry and help its residents live longer, healthier lives. The $3.5 million cost of the three-year plan is being funded primarily by UPMC, Highmark Health and LECOM Health.
