For anyone who may have walked through downtown Roseburg and thought that it could use a good cleanup, now is the chance to volunteer and do it.
Downtown Roseburg will get a good scrubbing on April 28 with the help of volunteers in the Downtown Roseburg Clean Up! event put on by the Downtown Roseburg Association and Blue Zones Project — Umpqua.
The association sponsors a few cleanups every year, but it is putting an extra effort into attracting volunteers to the upcoming event, by giving out free hats donated by one of the event sponsors to the first 75 volunteers who sign up.
