Work is continuing on a project to make Airdrie Canada's healthiest city smack dab in the middle of a health crisis, the global pandemic that is COVID-19.
In May of last year, after months of meetings and discussions, Airdrie was named the first Blue Zone Project outside of the United States. In August 2019, Kent Rupert went from being the Team Lead of Airdrie Economic Development to being Executive Director of the project. Rupert has assembled a five-member team to bring the first Canadian project to fruition.
