"Volunteering is important to me because it's an opportunity for me to assist organizations and to give back to the community. I love meeting people that come from all walks of life. I love helping people and there’s no greater satisfaction than feeling good about myself after doing so."

Favorite Power 9

"It's hard to choose a favorite Blue Zones Project Power 9. They are all meaningful and have a great purpose. Family first is a given, so if I had to choose one, my favorite [Power 9] is the right tribe. I feel that when you surround yourself with people who support each other and love to see growth and development and who work towards goals and encourage each another, they become family and you develop an amazing support system. It becomes easier to start positive behaviors, such as belonging, wine @ 5, and moving naturally (a few of my other favorite [Power 9 principles]) because with your tribe, you can establish accountability and be successful."

Mahalo Christina for all your work in our Kapolei-‘Ewa community!
