Those who participate in the Summer Activity Challenge will have a chance to win awesome prizes*. Whether it's going for a hike, taking a swim, or trying out a new sport, stepping out of your comfort zone and embracing the joy of movement can have a profound impact on your overall health and well-being.

If you’re looking for fun ideas to stay active this summer, give this Activity Challenge a try—it’s the perfect opportunity to get moving and create lasting memories. Let's make a conscious effort to move more and explore the beauty all around us this summer!
SUMMER ACTIVITIES:
Use this list to inspire your activities this summer. Please note, any natural movement activities completed will qualify you for prizes; you do not have to stick to this list. We're so excited to see all the fun activities you have planned this summer!
Go to a farmer’s market
Start a garden
Go on a hike
Swim in the ocean
Ride a bike
Dance
Take a walk to explore your neighborhood
Adopt a pet at your local shelter
Volunteer in your community
Attend a Blue Zones event
Share a healthy dish with family and friends
Cook a plant-based dish
Try a new activity or hobby, e.g. gardening, yoga, pickleball, surfing, windsurfing, photography, etc.
Spend time outdoors with family or friends
RULES AND PRIZE ELIGIBILITY – TWO WAYS TO ENTER
You have 2 options to enter the prize drawing:
- Post a photo of your natural movement activity on your Facebook or Instagram page. Photo(s) must remain on your page until winners are announced on Aug 14, 2023.

2. Option 2 - Email your activity photos to BlueZonesProjectHawaii@sharecare.com
*Prizes include a Blue Zones American Kitchen cookbook (4 prizes available), and a $100 gift card to a Blue Zones Project Approved restaurant or grocery store in your area (1 prize available). One photo submitted of each activity = 1 entry into the drawing. This is a random prize drawing. No purchase necessary to enter. Must be a Hawaii resident and at least 18 years of age to enter. Prize drawing closes at 5 PM on 8/7/23. Five winners will be notified via email or direct message by 8/14/23.
