Congratulations Dots Wahiawa!
On October 25th, the Wahiawa community gathered to celebrate their first Blue Zones Project Approved™ restaurant in Dots Wahiawa style. An iconic organization with whose history extends back to the 1930s, Dots Wahiawa continues to put the community first in everything it does.
Over 75 families and friends came out to enjoy Dots Wahiawa's local favorites and listen to the sounds of Lance Orillio & Friends while celebrating this achievement with the Dots staff and community. Many of the guests represented multiple generations of diners, some sharing memories going back 60 plus years. Diners experienced their local favorites from the enhanced menu or tried new items at the Blue Zones inspired buffet. Yes, the iconic sizzling hamburger steak (now offered with brown rice) is still available! You will also find Blue Zones inspired Vegetarian Tasty Tofu on the keiki menu, and a Customer Appreciation card rewarding diners for their healthy eating.
The Dots Wahiawa Blue Zones Project approval would not have been possible without the leadership and support of Dots Manager, Scott Harada and his team. We’d like to recognize Dots ongoing support of the Wahiawa community through their healthy menu choices, Pineapple Showroom events and Wahiawa style hospitality bringing old and new friends together to make lasting memories.
