Two restaurants from opposite ends of the food spectrum have joined the Blue Zones Project crusade.

Mel’s Diner, with a vast menu steeped in comfort food, and True Food Kitchen, launched with the help of a physician for health-conscious eating, have earned Blue Zones Project approval.

They join 9 other restaurants in Southwest Florida that have expanded menu options and made other changes to promote better health among customers.
