We haven’t always had to track our steps on little devices. There was a time when we had plenty of opportunities and nudges to move naturally throughout our day and walking was a necessity of life. But in a time where we can go from the couch, to the car, to the desk chair, and back, all without taking many steps at all, our well-being has become the casualty of sedentariness.

How can we engineer movement back into our days? Blue Zones Project is teaming up with Sherm’s and other organizations around the Umpqua Valley to incentivize and promote a little more movement through Blue Zones Parking Spaces and Areas.
