Several supporters of local programs could be seen in “Klamath Falls” and “Blue Zones Project” shirts as they offered tours of the town for a health prize site visit Wednesday afternoon.
Five officials on behalf of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Culture of Health Prize came to Klamath Falls to discuss past and continued programs that supporters say helped bring the area up to speed. Klamath County, with the help of the Healthy Klamath Initiative and Klamath County Public Health, was selected as one of 10 finalists for the national prize.
