Shoppers who go through the Blue Zones check-out lane at Sander’s Market will have trouble satisfying their sweet tooth.
 
Shelves usually filled with candy bars and gum are now stocked with protein bars, nuts, and fresh apples, bananas and oranges.
 
“Our display case at the end of the check-out used to be a soda cooler,” said Mike McCray, the supermarket’s store manager. “Now it has recipe cards for a healthy snack and I try to put the ingredients along with them.”
