WVU is working toward becoming the first college in the country to become involved in the Blue Zones Project, a program that promotes healthier lifestyles by changing the campus environment.
Blue Zones are the five areas of the world where researchers determined citizens live longer than any other region. They also identify the number of residents in these areas who have grown old without health problems like heart disease, obesity, cancer or diabetes.
