Six years ago, Katherine Pope embarked on a journey to help chip away at health outcome difficulties that continued to affect Klamath Falls and Klamath County.

Nobody could have predicted what came after: statewide recognition, a new local downtown wellness center and admittance as Oregon’s first Blue Zones Project site.

But after having their second child, Marian Stephanie Pope, and her husband, Randall Pope, taking a new job, she’s set to move back home to Indiana in just weeks.
