Five years from now, Fort Worth’s civic leaders hope residents will weigh less, smoke less and spend less on health care. They’re investing $45 million to $50 million of private money to transform the city into a place where people naturally eat more fruits and vegetables, get more exercise, feel a stronger sense of purpose and live longer, healthier lives.
