Corry, PA has become the first area in the northeastern U.S. to join the Blue Zones Project. The project aims at giving communities easy ways to live healthier and longer lives.
The project lists nine steps backed by research to help people live longer: move naturally, find a purpose, down shift to relieve stress each day, only eating until the stomach feels 80% full, eat mostly plants, drink 1-2 glasses of wine per day, belong to a faith or other group, commit to family and commit to close friends.
