Members of the community, Homeland workers and representatives from the company’s corporate office came to Shawnee Tuesday to participate in a two mile Fun Walk and to celebrate the stores’ partnership with the Blue Zones Project.
The event began with a ribbon cutting ceremony and speeches from many who were involved in making the project a reality, including Homeland CEO, Marc Jones.
