Turkey with all the trimmings is what many look forward to for a traditional Thanksgiving feast.

And you don’t have to sacrifice well-being or flavor to enjoy Thanksgiving this year.

In fact, for years sweet potatoes — a popular Thanksgiving dish — have been a staple in the diets of many Okinawans. One of the original Blue Zones areas, Okinawa, Japan, is home to people who enjoy the longest disability-free life expectancy anywhere in the world.
