“As a businesswoman, I’m focused on Dodge County’s economic strength,” said Trina Justman, manager of Main Street Mayville Inc. “My goal is to find the positive and promote it.”
Justman has not only been finding the positive in her community, she is making a positive difference as well. Inspired by Blue Zones Project, Justman is coordinating community events that focus less on food and more on movement and social connection. Main Street Mayville’s mission is to stimulate economic development in downtown Mayville and to promote it as an exciting place to shop, work, live, play and invest. By adding events like Wine and Yoga in the Park, the group was able to bring new people to the downtown, reaching people they had not previously reached.
