Last week was National Volunteer Week and we took some time to recognize all of our wonderful volunteers since the very start of Blue Zones Project in Monterey County.
Volunteers are an essential part of Blue Zones Project. We could not be making the the healthy choice the easy choice among our community with out them. Our volunteers help us in a variety of ways. For example:
Committee Members: these volunteers commit their time on a monthly basis to share their expertise and leadership qualities for the project. They help connect the dots and encourage collaboration among key stakeholders in the community.
Purpose Workshop Facilitators: these volunteers have gone through extensive training to facilitate Purpose Workshops for our community. They encourage others to dig deeper into their purpose and find ways to Live on Purpose on a daily basis.
