Honolulu City Council Resolutions Passed!

On January 31, 2018, Blue Zones Project Hawaii members were at Honolulu City Council to support two resolutions introduced by Councilmember Kymberly Marcos Pine.

Honolulu City Council

Resolution 17-360: Recognizes the Blue Zones Project by the City and County of Honolulu

Resolution 18-001: Urges the City to incorporate Complete Streets restriping into ongoing repaving projects

Both resolutions were unanimously adopted by the Council.

A special mahalo to our team and community members for their testimonies – Kitty Souza of Koolaupoko and Pastor Brownfield of Manoa-Makiki-McCully-Moiliili.
