PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS
Let's Celebrate!
Achieving Blue Zones Project Approved™ status is a wonderful accomplishment. Congratulations to the following organizations who are helping to make the healthy choice, the easier choice in SWFL.
Sapphire Lakes joined us as our newest recognized HOA in Naples. They have taken an active role in providing an atmosphere that is conducive to healthy living and aging. They provide purpose workshops, organize walking moais, and maintain a bike friendly community.
Pan-Florida Challenge is in true alignment with purpose and is making a big difference in our community. They support cancer patients and prevention research, and help feed food insecure children. "We're so excited to be part of the Blue Zones Project initiative and the movement to make our community a healthier place to live," said Jeri Goetz, Executive Director at Pan-Florida Challenge. "Working cohesively with other organizations throughout SWFL to advocate for the well-being of our residents is empowering, and Pan-Florida Challenge is proud to be part of the solution!"
Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA) is one of the first approved worksites in Immokalee and is a leading example of wellness in the Immokalee community. " RCMA chose to become Blue Zone approved to create a happier and healthier environment for its greatest assets, its employees, " said Misty Smith, Executive Administrative Manager at RCMA. "It is RCMA’s goal to help staff make health and wellness a lifestyle. It is in alignment with what we currently promote among students in our charter schools."
