PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS

Let's Celebrate!

Achieving Blue Zones Project Approved™ status is a wonderful accomplishment. Congratulations to the following organizations who are helping to make the healthy choice, the easier choice in SWFL.

 Organizations
"Participating in Blue Zones Project will expand Copperleaf’s Live Laugh Learn Enrichment Program with new classes and presentations." stated Anna Laabs, Activities Coordinator. "Additions such as Walking Moais will help form new friendships and support systems within the community. Our Executive Chef is excited to add Blue Zones inspired menu options and the Fitness Program will continue to host classes that allow for downshifting with Stretch & Tai Chi classes."

"Participating in the Blue Zones Project has made the Swimtastic Swim School Squad more aware of our surrounding environment," stated Lindsay Pursglove, Phd, MBA, MS, Owner & Operator of Swimtastic Swim Schools of SW Florida. "We tend to forget that the daily choices that we make become so routine and normal to us, that it is still making a positive impact on us and the people around us.

ABN Law chose to become involved in Blue Zones Project because we believe in a healthy work-family life balance, stated Martin Nestares, founding partner. "As part of that core value, we encourage each of our partners and staff members to live a healthy lifestyle inside and outside of our office doors. Since becoming a Blue Zones Project recognized organization, we have encouraged ourselves and our employees to walk more. Walking to lunch has afforded us the opportunity to connect on a personal level outside of work, which has brought our office closer."

Sagewood Institute is now a recognized organization! Sagewood Institute brings together expert physicians and practitioners from a variety of disciplines to help clients look and feel healthy as they age, using cutting-edge research and techniques. The Institute also educates professionals and the public on effective and proven peer-reviewed research on healthy aging.
