Today, the State of North Dakota and Altru Health System announced the launch of the first Blue Zones Project (BZP) in Grand Forks. This will be the first BZP in North Dakota and is supported by a unique collaboration between Altru Health System, Altru Foundation, and the North Dakota State Department of Health.
Blue Zones Project is a comprehensive well-being initiative that uses an evidence-based approach to transform the environments where people live, work, learn, and play to improve well-being, economic vitality, and resilience.
